Oak Lawn Farmers Market ~ Wed., Sept 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 from 7 to 1

Shoppers should be prepared for a new normal under social distancing guidelines developed by the Illinois Department of Agriculture designed to protect market employees and consumers. Vendors will be limited to agricultural products (flowers, seeds, plants), produce and cottage foods (honey, jam, fruit pies). Don't expect to squeeze the tomatoes to check for freshness because touching products is prohibited.

Let’s Paint Together Grandparent/Grandchild Event, Sept. 24 from 4 to 5

Children age three and up and their grandma and grandpa are welcome to join the Oak Lawn Park District for an afternoon of painting fun on Thursday, September 24th at the Let’s Paint Together event.

Enjoy an hour learning to paint, winning raffle prizes, and spending time with loved ones.  Each participant in the household must register. This event is held at the Oak View Center, 4625 W. 110th St., from 4:00-5:00pm. Fee is $8 per household.  Registration deadline is Monday, September 21st.
